The unseen, the wondering thoughts, the fear of what’s ahead and most of all; am I living in the will of God? We often dwell on wanting to make sure that we are following God’s will for our life and miss out in actually fulfilling His ordained will for us.
It’s times like these that we become the stumbling blocks, rather than the steppingstones, which are our help to climb higher.
How can we ever be sure that God is leading?
Faith is believing in the unseen and a feeling deep within that God is calling you forth. It’s unexplainable. We will never know all the answers and if we wait for them to be unveiled, we will never reap the benefits. Saint Mother Theresa of Calcutta who, unknown to the world, lived in her dark night of the soul, forging forward to respond to the voice within.
She desired to please only her Lord and never allowed her inner darkness to block the light that illumined her pathway. She accepted the things she could not change, prayed for the wisdom to know the difference, and the courage to change the things that she could. Her legacy of Faith, Courage and Trust lives on. Live in the knowledge that when God calls and we respond, He will do the rest.
